About

In my practice I wanted to represent personalities and freedom of different humans and animals and insects  by combining them together. I also intended to show their different appearances. My aim in this practice was also to make the characters as unique, imaginative and weird as possible, but I also intend to show the combinations in humorous and joyful way.  I am going to further develop this theme. The reason why I have chosen this theme was because I find animals and nature really interesting and inspiring. I have always found animal characters  fascinating especially their wild nature , freedom and also their relationship with human. I have first came up with this theme before I have studied at Ulster University, it was during my foundation year, my theme then was based on transformation and I have decided to combine one animal species with another one. I have then continued to further develop this theme and to experiment more  with it.

I like working mix media for instance combining collage  or textile and print a lot in my art.  Recently i have started working  with papier- mache sculpture of  different scale. I feel that surrealism and photo-realism are the two styles that I enjoy most but also suit my work best. I have always enjoyed experimenting with weird surreal perspective or the combination of things as I like experimenting  to see what would happen or how weird and imaginative my art could get.
