I am Julia Bednarczyk, a Polish contemporary artist based in Belfast, specialising in surrealism, hyperrealism, and high-fashion-inspired art. I create hybrid sculptures that combine human and animal forms, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and the subconscious.

Influenced by both fashion and surrealism, these works move between reality and imagination. My approach combines conceptual thinking with a strong technical foundation, developing a visual language across sculpture, portraiture, and fashion.

In addition to oil paintings, I also work with textiles,  sculptures and creating hyperrealistic celebrity portraits, with a focus on detail, expression, and character.
